YEAH!!! Machi comes home this week! I am very excited. I have really missed her! It has not been as funny around the house with out her! Anyways for those of you who don’t know Machi has been gone for about a month and 1/2! Crazy! So I have had my own room which has been great don’t get me wrong but miss her more than I like having my own room…You know the time that she’s been gone has made me realize that we really need to be greatful for those God has put in our lives cuz lots of times we don’t realize how much people bless us until were in another season when there not so close. Not sure if that makes since. ANYWAYS!!! We have all missed her! And are excited that shes home!

much to do about nothing

Hey everyone I have done a terrible job about keeping this page updated and its not really because I’ve been so busy. I mean there have been things going on I had to get some teeth pulled (not fun!) I also am in the process of getting braces on my teeth (not fun and ugly and for those of you who don’t know some months ago I took a new job working in the IHOP housing department. With all that I feel like I’ve been running around doing alot of things that mean nothing and not really being a stuard of my time. Its been a lot of much to do about n0thing! So I think its time to refocus my heart I think we have major seasons in our lives where this is absolutely needed. Well maybe we need to be doing this every day! I feel like I have really lost myself in the “things” of life that we think are most important at the time but then looking back are nothing compared to knowing God and being known by Him..ya know? Yiks! so it is really a season where I know that God is calling me to once again tear down the idols I have set up in my heart.

Sometimes we feel so afraid… sometimes we feel so lonely some times we feel confused sometimes we feel so helpless and we don’t know what to do…its so hard to believe it if you’ve never heard the voice of your father singin “your not alone”… “your not alone your not alone! I never leave you!”

I’m not alone… The more you fly the more you’ll see…I’m not alone you never leave me! sometimes we can sing our whole lives about you Father and never know you… sometimes we can preach your name but never know you sometimes we can tell our children they need to live for Jesus but never really know Him but your drawing us in cuz you love us drawing us close…I’m not Alone You never leave me you never leave me…

So I have decided to post stuff on here again. I haven’t posted for a while because…well… not because nothing is going on because there is a ton of stuff going on but I just have not had a desire to really write for a while. You know how sometimes God is doing things in you and its just a time of learning and listening and I have just felt like before I share with anyone else what God has been showing me to really listen and understand it for myself first. I think sometimes God is really teaching us some stuff but we so quickly go and try to bring revelation to everyone around us when we really don’t have revelation in the area we are sharing about. Wow does this make since? I almost got confuses trying to write that sentence…well hopefully you get the heart of what I’m trying to convey Well I love you guys! And I want to very soon share some stuff I have been learning about contemplative Prayer and purposefull Prayer lol if thats a word…yeah so hopefull that happens soon welp gotta get back to work! bless ya’ll!

Will you be a witness at my wedding?

So yeah I have to say today was a strange day. I have a couple of friends from IHOP Brian and Lou Ann and they are engaged well “were” engaged and asked me yesterday to be a witness at their wedding which is a very interesting I had never been a witness at a wedding and had no idea you had to have two witnesses crazy! The wedding was so good though they love each other so much she had no idea that God was sending her husband and that they would be married less than 3 months after they started dating but today they got married! It was so good they are perfect for each other and so I bless them and honor them today. ITS Crazy how fast weddings happen around here at IHOP! Anyways Father I just ask that you would guide them to where ever you want them next bless them in there journey and I thank you for their love for each other and for your love for them. Bless them as they start there family and give them wisdom and may they walk with you all the days of there lives! I am putting some pictures of them up so you can see!!

Ok so I admit it I read in the shower and to be honest I have hesitated doing this in the past for fear of dropping a book in the water and fear of water spots on the pages cuz hey I like to keep my books in good shape! But anyways I have taken the risk the last couple months and haven’t drowned one yet but I have really been meeting with Jesus and so all that to share with you a few things I read while in bath tub… One is a quote from an AW Tozer book, and what he said was, “the stiff and wooden quality about our religious lives is a result of our lack of holy desire.” and he went on to say,”Complacency is a deadly foe of all spiritual growth. Acute desire must be present or there will be NO manifestation of Christ to his people. He waits to be wanted.” These words struck my heart and then I read this which well read it for yourself….Think about these -
Read them Aloud and answer them personally -
1. Am I consciously or unconsciously creating the impression that I am a better man than I really am? In other words, am I a hypocrite?
2. Am I honest in all my acts or words, or do I exaggerate?
3. Do I confidentially pass on to another what was told to me in confidence?
4. Can I be trusted?
5. Am I a slave to dress, friends, work or habits?
6. Am I self-conscious, self-pitying, or self-justifying?
7. Did the Bible live in me today?
8. Do I give it (the Bible) time to speak to me everyday?
9. Am I enjoying prayer?
10. When did I last speak to somebody else with the object of trying to win that person for Christ?
11. Am I making contacts with other people and using them for the Master’s glory?
12. Do I pray about the money I spend?
13. Do I get to bed on time and get up on time?
14. Do I disobey God in anything?
15. Do I insist upon doing something about which my conscience is uneasy?
16. Am I defeated in any part of my life? Am I jealous, impure, critical, irritable, touchy, or distrustful?
17. How do I spend my spare time ?
18. Am I proud?
19. Do I thank God that I am not as other people, especially the Pharisees who despised the publican?
20. Is there anybody whom I fear, dislike, disown, criticize, hold a resentment toward or
disregard? If so, what am I doing about it?
21. Do I grumble or complain constantly?
22. Is Christ real to me?
